I’m disappointed that Gov. Walker didn’t say, “Well, of course. Everyone with two functioning brain cells knows that.”

One would hope that he does not have the intention of even responding to these transparent attacks. He’s gonna have to “Get Smart” if he wants to go farther.

The burden of reaction is on the President. That concludes MY silence on the matter.

Guiliani "insults" the President (by stating an obvious truth), and they go after Walker who happened to be nearby.

They are terrified of Walker.

What’s going on here? Is Walker going to be condemned if he doesn’t comment on every single liberal “outrage” of the day?

I agree with what Walker said. Rudy can speak for himself. The president can speak for himself.

There’s no way to win these food fights which liberals start.

Just where is the “silence” of Hillary Clinton and others on the Dem side on Bill Ayers? What about the “silence” when Sarah Palin is blamed because some apolitical lunatic attacked Gabby Giffords? What about the silence about unfounded charges of “racism” every time someone says something the liberals don’t agree with? Not a word, and not a word of criticism from the usual suspects.

I’m glad he won’t take the bait. See the way Big Media loves to try to stir up trouble among Republicans. You don’t see them doing this to Democrats.

They FEAR Walker so much. They are scratching for anything that will stick. Reminds me of the panic Reagan caused the mainstream media. VERY reminiscent.

Commie scumbags at the WP are playing with fire.

"he has proved himself incapable of saying basic truths that might offend some of his potential voters: ... that an honorable politician criticizes his opponent’s policies, not his patriotism."

I've never heard of this "basic truth", and when it is so obvious, it is most certainly reasonable to raise the inquiry, since the media will not do it.

The best response would have been something like: Well, I am not in the business of supporting or denying what another politician says during an interview. Regarding the content of what the Mayor said however, I would say that to the extent he might have a point, where were you when the Presient was vetted?

Don’t play their game. They want a bold statement that they can roundly criticize or one the can praise pissing off his supporters. Either way he loses.

Rudy is one hundred percent right. When we closely look at King Obama’s actions how can anyone not see it. King Obama is a communists and had many communists friends he associated with and still does. He is a black, and can you doubt it. Not just skin but look how he supports black criminals. His partner is Holder, and any doubt? Is he a Muslim. Actions speaks louder than words.

King Obama is a communists black Muslim traitor.

I think Obama should defend himself for a change, instead of VJ and the media

The Post comes from the starting position that what Guiliani said was outrageous. Since it is not, Walker's silence is perfectly acceptable.

I’m not a Walker fan, but his comments were right on the mark and the editorial board is wrong to criticise him for them.

Sen. Marco Rubio said WHAT? POTUS....he couldn’t love America because he is a Narcissist....aside from that his parents, grandparents and relatives all either disapproved of or hated America and walked to the Communist drummer....Obama chose similar thinking friends...they were not your Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. Mayor Giuliani spoke the truth and the Left/Socialist/Communists in this country are having the same sort of hissy fit CAIR has every time Islam is exposed for what it is. The Mayor should be awarded a medal for telling the truth.

“The Post meanwhile praised Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a potential rival to Walker, for saying that “I believe the president loves America.””

Absolute idiot. If he won’t back Rudy all Rubio had to say was “I can’t read the President’s mind but all of his policies are wrong for America ... etc”. But no Rubio had to say he thinks the President loves America. Based on what?

Not only Obama, but a large swath of the leftist academic/media complex doesn’t love America either — and that likely includes the writer of the Post editorial.
