Most Westerners - especially those in the USA, if they listen at all, see no distinction between Islam and Christianity - even some hating Christians and Christianity while praising muslims as morally superior. Which is why so many fall for the “moderate” Islam line.

That doesn’t matter. Islam officially allows for lying to non-Muslims if it is to advance or protect Islam-it’s called “taqqiya”. And for that matter, he doesn’t have be a devout Muslim to be a Muslim-I can’t see him being a devout anything because he does indeed worship himself. But as far as he follows any religious/politcal system (and make no mistake, Islam is as much a political system as it is a religion), it’s Islam.

He calls it the “holy” koran and said that it was revealed. No Christian would say those things.

I for one am not confused. Just look at what he does and you will find the answer. His words are just so much BS, it is his actions that betray him. Muslim born and Muslim until death.
Obama went to a Muslim school as a child but his ultimate faith is in Marx and Lenin.
It shows in his decision to kill Bin Laden, who actions hurt the Marxist cause by discrediting terrorism as a method of political action.
Communist and Communist backed terrorism was a major feature of the 20th Century.
It also shows in his infatuation with Iran and giving them what they want.
The Iranian regime’s closest “friends” are the Marxist-Leninist nations like Venezuela and Cuba, North Korea and China. Russia is also a friendly nation.
The Soviets occupied northern Iran including Tehran during WW 2 and subverted the country and planted agents there to exploit events like the “Islamic Revolution”.

After all, John McCain refused to use his middle name (Hussein) or have it uttered by his campaign in 2008 and the GOP was again completely silent about it in 2012. They treated it like a "government shutdown" and refused to go there for any reason. Same with the media.

A man with Obama’s ego has no religion. Government is his God and he is the messiah. Obama envies political Islam but can not accept any higher power than himself. Sadly, there are people that believe the same and actually pray to and worship Obama.
I would say that he is actually only a cultural Muslim. A real Muslim believes in a god; Obama, being a malignant narcissist, could never engage in the sort of humbling of self to a deity that religious faith requires. He worships himself, not God, not even the god “Allah.”
