Actually, Islamic Terrorism came to America in a big way with the 1993 World Trade Center bombings! That’s almost TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO!!
The trouble is, the American people slept through it. I remember Steven Emerson having a documentary “Terrorists Among Us: Jihad in America” shown on PBS in 1994!!

Steven Emerson also was testifying before Congress in the late 1990s about Islamic Terrorism. I remember that ... and also remember reading Osama bin Ladin’s “Declaration of War” (a written Islamic justification of war against America) back in 1998. Most people were LAUGHING about it!! But Steven Emerson wasn’t and I wasn’t.
Back at the end of the year in 1999, and in 2000 I was posting on Free Republic about Steven Emerson and his “Terrorists Among Us: Jihad in America”. Most people were just “ho-hum” about it. It’s too bad I can’t get those articles on Free Republic from back then, or I would link them here!
The REAL TROUBLE here ... is the American people, as all the information that the public needed, was available back in 1993 and 1994 and running up to 2001. I know ... I was posting it!

Indeed, Emerson went into US mosques and was talking about this so long ago, and yet, Fox News apologized for his contention that there are “no go” areas in Paris. I think if anyone has credibility on this issue it is Emerson.
