Years ago a friend of mine was in a movie theatre in the afternoon. There were about 20 middle east guys there and they were pacing out the exits, running from the front to the back of the theatre, doing all kinds of drills. My friend and her mother left the theatre, as it was pretty scary.

Shopping malls and movie theatres are their targets.

And worse, their recruitment efforts may be paying off. The fresh-faced all-American youth you see in mall may have already been turned - only a very few of them, to be sure, but enough so that a major plant can be in a wide number of places, all timed out to have a simultaneous hit.

“Flash mob” takes on a whole new connotation.

Look to professors in a number of different campuses that may have Middle Eastern ties to Palestine or Iran. Sami al-Arian was not an isolated individual or a solitary example.

That would be scary and would change the entire equation. The last few attacks had a rhyme or reason in regards to the targets. Charlie Hebdo was political, and the Jewish supermarket was religious. An attack on a mall in the US would signal that no person anywhere in the US is safe, regardless of political or religious affiliation, or even location. It would instill a real essence of fear in the US population.
