There are many, MANY reasons to put the GOP to rest, at all cost. Namely, because they want to do the same to Conservatives. No, I won't give the GOP any more power. Period. It's done. They've squandered mandate after mandate, they do NOT care for us.

The way we can counter it is to get on the phone or the internet and start yelling .. and don’t stop.
The one issue I’m not upset about the McConnell will not STOP THE FILIBUSTER .. but all the time the DEMS were in charge, they constantly KEPT THE REPUBS FROM BEING ABLE TO USE THE FILIBUSTER. Making me mad as hell. And .. this is exactly why I didn’t want McConnell re-elected. He’s tooooo friendly with the DEMS and he will always consider them .. when THE DEMS NEVER CONSIDERED THE REPUBS.
So, I will be busy sending emails and making calls yelling about this issue .. and remember this ..... it worked with Boehner .. and the GOPe stopped the rage against the Tea Party.
