Isaac Herzog has crossed a critical red line by refusing to speak before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
Israel needs all the support it can get from pro-Israel Americans. So, if a leftist, pacifist Israeli leader boycotts AIPAC’s annual meeting because he so hates Netanyahu, the result will be that leftist, pacifist American Jews will be encouraged to not only stop contributing to Israel if Netanyahu wins next month’s election but to also increase their efforts to promote more anti-Israel boycotts, divestitures, and sanctions by American institutions.
The greatest existential threat to Israel is its own people. If Israeli voters re-elect Benjamin Netanyahu he will have to deal with an even greater degree of anti-Israel hatred from American Jews and other liberals, thanks to Isaac Herzog’s stirring the pot by boycotting AIPAC.
But if Isaac Herzog is elected prime minister instead, Israel will be doomed to divesting itself of at least the West Bank and possibly Jerusalem, not to mention tax increases that will send Israeli companies fleeing, as well as all the other economic problems that leftist regimes inevitably inflict on their people.
The Jewish people need to cure thrmselves of their self-hating suicidal (and really pathetic!) Quislings. ASAP. Before the Quislings cause all the Jews to be killed.
