Vermont’s investigation into licenses-for-illegals fraud spreads to multiple states, DMV offices

MONTPELIER, Vt. — An investigation into fraudulent applications for Vermont’s driver’s privilege cards has spread to multiple states and Department of Motor Vehicle branches, according to the department’s chief investigator.

When the Department of Motor Vehicles first reported receiving a rash of driver’s license applications from out-of-state illegal immigrants, it appeared the problem might be limited to a single license branch and involve one other state.

It went on right here in my little county in a remote, isolated part of the mountains in western NC. Vanloads of illegals were brought in from surrounding states. so many that local folks couldn’t get in for their renewals, etc. The gal running the office was arrested and then represented in court by a lawyer who just happened to be the chairman of the state board of elections.

Why don't they just issue "International Driver's Licenses" to the wetbacks? That way, they can use their old driver's license, and won't cause any confusion by issuing licenses to people who are not legally in the country!

Oh, that's right! Because the wetbacks couldn't even qualify for a driver's license in their home country.

We had a Governor go to prison for that here in Illinois. Licenses for Bribes they called it. An entire group of children were burned to death on the expressway after being hit by a illegal who’d purchased his license with a bribe.
