“Did the media create the whole horror story?”
I have to assume that you are a younger person. Those of us who remember the awful things that happened during the Selma marches (not just the first one) KNOW that it was a horror story. No not one was killed on that particular day but you have to be ignorant or forgetful to remember all who were killed by bigoted nasty individuals(democrats all)who had decided that some human beings aren’t human enough.
Actually I was there. Just a passing motorist tho I did manage to get a photo.
I suggest you have no idea what you are talking about.
I hate to remind people, but the organizers welcomed the violence, even as they preached non-violence.
