Only for now.
Shelve the ATF.
Shelving does NOT = killing it.
Instead they’re going to ban gunpowder and anything containing gunpowder.
Or they’ll do it in secret which is what I think will happen.
YES!
But not good enough.
Those who tried this should be fired, tried, convicted and sent to prison.
That is the ONLY way to stop this.
AS TO shelving? Allowing Mr. have a Pen and I Have a Phone..to raid the pantry,..to as to take...:”Executive Action”..?
Burned down a church full of people, used tanks to collapse the underground shelter full of kids.
Raised the ATF flag on the still-burning embers.
“at this time” the only words in that statement that matter.
So I guess when Obama says we should ban these bullets that are not in any way more dangerous or “armor piercing” than any other rifle bullet because “everyone” want’s to ban them, he means everyone but the Fraternal Order of Police and these several hundred lawmakers.
They banned surplus 5.45 X 39 for the same reason. I wonder if that will change as well?
Interesting choice of words in this statement.
Pressure must be brought to bear upon these people, and an actual fight between Congress and this Administration over this issue must happen, otherwise the “rule” or “regulation” will be implemented when attentions are focused elsewhere.
Yes, there is little evidence the GOP would have the backbone to go to the mat over this issue, and I highly doubt they would have the sacks necessary to force the administration to back down, even if it means shutting down the government, but I see it as the last “peaceful” alternative to put an end to the scheming of this administration concerning our Second Amendment Rights.
Now they’ll shift gears and start BUYING all of it.
In other words. “Buy all you can, because it will eventually be banned and the run on this ammunition will deplete the supplies and drive the price up.”
I’d love to know which federal officials are holding stock in ammunition companies, because they just made this the hottest item on the market.
I wonder how many people spent nearly $2/rnd for those 62gr steel core ‘Penetrator’ rounds during the past month.
Over the long term, it was probably still a good investment. I wouldn’t think for a second they are giving up on this. Congress should still act to prevent such things in the future, in any way they can.
Because they were caught running the trial balloon to eventually ban all rifle and handgun ammo.
Already ran the price up and cleared the inventory.
To be brought back out quietly in a month or three.
A bit of good news.
