it's more of a case that she actually looks like a thug than anything else...In all fairness, Jersey City (and the rest of Hudson County NJ) has no shortage of lighter-hued scammers in office. The white mayor himself has had some ethical issues raised; I don’t believe they are resolved yet. Jersey City isn’t another Newark; it has a lot more promise (and jobs, and taxpayers, etc.); it has benefited greatly from the train wreck called NYC right across the Hudson River.
