Upfront: Ordinarily I would be in blanket agreement your sentiments. These sentiments are personal values I hold,

However, to the ladies reading this, candy-assed pansies are what women in America should come to expect of 'men.'

For those of you who don't know, March is "Women's History Month." As part of Women's History Month, where my girlfriend works hosted several seminars and speaking events.

During the events it was noted that men holding doors, or offering to pay is sexist. The very idea of men protecting women is sexist. -Not one women stood up and said, "That's BS."

How often do we hear from the left that women can do anything a man can do? Women should be allowed in combat arms fields like the infantry. Hollywood movies like GI Jane or Enough show some woman beating the snot out of men twice their size.

Apparently American women are just fine waking up in the dorm room to some pervert fondling them, or following them into restroom. They don't need a man to protect them.

To many of the women crying that "chivalry is dead," they need to look down and see that they're holding the murder weapon.

Well, I’m a woman. I will be going back to college this fall and it has been my habit to avoid “women’s studies” like the plague. I don’t tend to be invited to seminars and events of that sort, certainly I don’t host them. I do get invited to seminars and events where men and women are both in attendance, usually there is wine involved.

If a man opens a door for me I say “thank you” and return the favor when the occasion arises.

I honestly don’t know how the guys manage to run off undesireables, as I said I never hear so much as a raised voice. I’m grateful and remember them with baked goods and little favors like clearing snow and whatnot.

If you are lucky you live in a place where people do myriad little kindnesses with no thought other than helping out another person. Learn to see these things and you won’t be so apt to blame innocent people for acts they have not committed.
