I dont know if our country has any precedent for emergent scientific truths to be debated on political grounds, he said... Irony alert. Needle's off the scale.

Neil, ask Mike Mann about massaging data, and then think critically about why that isn’t science!

..perhaps those living in Miami, California and other places already experiencing the impacts of our changing climate could lead the way for the rest of us. Nothing has changed in Miami. Nothing. These dolts are pointing to drought in California as if there has never been a drought before in history. What a bunch of fools. It's time to call them that.

Is he a real scientist? He's a pitchman with a science degree - astrophysics.
I don't believe he has any scientific work to his credit, though.

What's scientific about 'climate change'?
Seriously: what observation would disprove the theory of man-made climate change?
If you can't design an experiment that might disprove it then it's not a scientific theory. It's just yelling.

My respect for Tyson is zero.
Milankovitch Cycles. Maunder Minimum. Medieval Warming Period. Growing grapes for wine in Roman-era England. Ice cores from Greenland. CO2 not as powerful of a greenhouse gas as WATER VAPOR. The hydrologic cycle as it relates to the aforementioned water vapor.
...all of which argue AGAINST Mr. Tyson. As a scientist, you would think he'e be required to KNOW THIS SH!T, eh?
...not much of a scientist, I must conclude.
Oh, and Salon...well, 'nuff said. It's a rag.

When the occasion arises, I casually mention something like
this: “I can’t believe people are still falling for the
Climate Change or Climate Disruption scam. I wonder what
kind of SUV’s they drive on the other planets whose
temperatures fluctuate, too. I refuse to be taken for a
fool by the greedy power and control freaks.”
