Martin O'Malley challenges Hillary Clinton

Washington (CNN)Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley took a major shot at Hillary Clinton on Sunday, saying the country needs a "new perspective" and "new leadership" in the 2016 election.

"Let's be honest here," O'Malley said. "The presidency of the United States is not some crown to be passed between two families."

The Democrat's comments, in an appearance on ABC's "This Week," are another signal that he's likely to challenge Clinton in the 2016 Democratic presidential primary.

He's focusing in recent weeks on issues like income inequality and wage stagnation -- which liberal darling Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren has made her signature, but that haven't found a champion in the presidential race.

O'Malley said he won't decide until this spring whether he'll seek the Democratic nomination. But his shots at Clinton have been the most direct of any of the party's likely challengers -- with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders seeking to avoid the topic of Clinton at all costs.

Recalling the 2008 primary, when then-upstart Sen. Barack Obama challenged an inevitable-looking Clinton and won, O'Malley hinted he thinks Clinton could be defeated.

"History is full of times when the inevitable frontrunner is inevitable right up until he or she is no longer inevitable," O'Malley said.

O’Malleys got that look that your dog had when you picked him up at the vet after they cut his nuts off, very confused.

"History is full of times when the inevitable frontrunner is inevitable right up until he or she is no longer inevitable," O'Malley said.

Is he talking about Hillary or Jeb?

See how the media has conveniently shoved the e-mail scandal under the rug and continuing the “Hillary’s nomination is inevitable” narrative. Don’t buy it for a second. The powers that be are already at work finding ways to derail her campaign by pushing a Martin O’Malley, Fauxahontas, or even an Algore candidacy. They know Hillary’s damaged goods and her trail of scandal keeps getting longer.

He also said he supports homosexual marriage, amnesty for
Illegal aliens and giving them driver licences.

Not too worried about this commie scumbag becoming President.

Hillary got beat out once for the nomination & she will not be denied this time.

Soon O’Malley is going to wake up to a horse head in his bed.

Bruised and battered Reid announces his retirement from the Senate.

Odd, isn’t it? (/smirk)

All the polls say "Democrat supremacy" is just around the corner-—when Hillary is coronated Queen of the Hill.

Yet, Senate big-shots---Boxer, Mikulski, Reid (Democrat retirees to date) are heading for the high ground--- though they'd have enormous power w/ Hillary in the WH.

Looks like big shot Dems aren't sticking around for the “glory days” ahead.

Or do they know something we already know?

Exactly. Those you listed are Democrat royalty. Why are they giving up the throne?

A recent poll showed 66% of Democrats want Hillary to have strong opposition.

O'Malley should get A for effort---b/c to come out and challenge the Clintons is very, very dangerous.
