Sharyl Attkisson: Hillary Must Be Hiding Something 'Very Bad'
NewsMax ^ | 3/30/2015 | Cathy Burke/Sharyl Attkisson

There must have been "very, very bad or embarrassing" things on Hillary Clinton's personal email server that was wiped clean – including information on the deadly 2012 attack on the U.S. outpost in Benghazi, Libya, says former CBC News investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson.

In an interview on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV on Monday, Attkisson said it was just "common sense" that the deleted data was likely worse than the firestorm created by its deletion.

"In my experience, there must've been some very, very bad or embarrassing things on there, because it appears as if she'd rather take the heat for the actions erasing the server at a time when she knew it was being sought by Congress and under Freedom of Information Act request, and probably lawsuits … than turn over what was really in them," she said.

"To me, this all points to Benghazi," Attkisson added. "There are things she didn't want to turn over and did not turn over...."

40 (plus) years in government and manipulating the mediad has taught the Clintons how to dodge any potential legal problems. Remember their friend and faithful servant, Sandy Berger. No matter how much government evidence and public records she has destroyed nothing will come of this. But if it comes to the point that she tells congress to STFU because she is going home it could be that at least America has been spared the chance of her becoming President.

And it will stay hidden.

Spoliation of Evidence

"The spoliation inference is a negative evidentiary inference that a finder of fact can draw from a party's destruction of a document or thing that is relevant to an ongoing or reasonably foreseeable civil or criminal proceeding: the finder of fact can review all evidence uncovered in as strong a light as possible against the spoliator and in favor of the opposing party."

What I would demand is the Secret Service logs of whom entered the Clinton data center. Identify the IT guys and have them testify under oath about the server and who did what to it and when. Squeeze the small fish to capture the whale

Not only that, but how about the personal pleas from Steve (her supposed friend that she sent to Libya).

Plus, I believe a lot of the data on her computer were letters to foreign countries - people who were willing to put money into their “foundation”, in order to curry favor from her when she was President.

How many times did she tell these foreigners, when I’m President, I’ll do this or that for you” .. just hand over the money now as pre-payment. GREED!

I’m pretty sure that’s illegal in more ways than one; and surely she would not want people to know the content of those letters.

I agree with Sharyl; I believe Hillary was hiding some very BIG and embarrassing information.

Hillary is hiding something, but that she set up her own email server precisely when she became Sec. of State is significant too. Knowing how the Clintons like to get dirt on everybody could it be she anticipated getting something on Obama that she could use later or was it to hide her relationship with Huma? The deleting of the emails exactly when the Benghazi hearings were starting to ask for her emails smacks of obstructing justice. However, NOTHING will come of this. We can only hope that people start to see Hillary was the untrustworthy character she really is

That is a very smart idea, but we all know it will never happen. What we no have is 6 years of a rogue State Department operating on it's own and leaving no record of anything that went on.

She has sealed this department up tighter than the KGB.

I think that it’s pretty damned embarrassing that these women (Lerner and Hillary) seem to fall back on “I’m just a stupid woman, I don’t understand all of this technology stuff”.

Hillary is a lot of things-but she is not “stupid” unless that mysterious fall really DID do something bad and permanent. She was a National Merit Scholar in high school.

[[personal email server that was wiped clean]]

Isn’t it against the law to destroy evidence?

Overwriting every empty bit on a disk several times so that recovery is impossible is trivial for any IT professional. And it can be done in a way that doesn’t leave a record. If Hillary had expert help and her intent was to make sure the data is gone, then it’s gone.

But smart enough to wipe the server.

It's like the Nixon tapes, the facts they contain are far worse than the scandal of hiding them.

The shame of this is that the incompetence of the GOPe and its blind hatred of True Conservatives have brought us to this juncture where neither the press nor the public have any interest in the technical management of Hillary’s email internet servers.

Bill Clinton and Hillary have successfully painted the GOP as a collection of smear artists who are out to get the Clintons at the behest of their Big Business patrons. The fact is that the GOPe has never gone after the Clintons to nearly the degree it has gone after the Tea Party, evangelicals, and their candidates.

Thank you once again GOPe!
