As Gossip Cop previously reported, Remini made headlines when she left Scientology. During an interview last year, the actress revealed that she departed from the faith because her daughter Sofia was getting close to the age when children begin the religion’s auditing process. Remini also said that she started to reflect on her own childhood, when she was forced to live in a secluded Scientology compound in Florida.

“We were working from morning until night with barely any schooling,” Remini said at the time. “There was no saying no. There was no being tired.” Because of that and other things, Remini said she felt “everything the Church taught me was a lie.”

Hey ... try something for me.

Visualize a clam, rolling around in the surf, trying to open and close its valve ... at the same time make a pinching motion with your thumb and forefinger. (Either hand, or both ... it matters not.)

Tell me if anything weird happens ....

As if we needed proof that the “religion” of many in H-Wood are a fries short of a Happy Meal.

I’m about halfway through, and I cannot believe that while the Feds target Christians, Scientology is virtually untouchable. From the very start it was sick insanity!

There are some BBC docs on YouTube about them if you cant see the HBO show, and the poor reporter in that one had a meltdown on camera because these freaks were relentless in making sure no one got to the truth by any means necessary.

I knew Remini was a Scientologist, but I always assumed she was just another actress who signed up to further her career. Knowing she was indoctrinated by her parents is a revelation. Hopefully she got out before her own kid was too badly screwed up.

Was just listening to Michel Savage talking about hbo show and in short defending scientology as no better or worse than any other religion. It really disappointed me in him.

How did Scientology ever get established in Hollywood in the first place?
