Entire article is interesting and worth reading. So unlike Hillary's coronation.

The RINO national convention and the “Go pee” (GOPe) elitists are intent on forcing Jeb or Mitt down our throats no matter what people say.

So what if he places second or third in the first six primaries...what happens to the enthusiasm then? If he doesn’t get primary support from the religious right, the Tea Party crowd, or southern Republicans...there’s not much left to bet on.

Well, Marx said that Communism was “inevitable.”

Seriously, I hate that word.

The whole bush-hillary thing makes them both seem like old, recycled candidates they pulled off a basement shelf somewhere lost in the 90s. Way past the expiration date.

They’re just old news and old policies best left to political nightmares of the past. We as American don’t have time to play around with the fate of our country to cater to the vanity of has-been political hacks who have nothing to offer the American people other than another 4-8 year long trail of economic tears.

Aides have assured worried supporters that Mr. Bush, a former Florida governor, will spend more time on the stump, honing his message, cultivating grass-roots enthusiasm

I got news for them. If at this point he needs to spend more time "honing his message," then he has ZERO hope of cultivating grass-roots enthusiasm with whatever phony pandering speech he delivers.

Nope, all the main candidates are fatally flawed. Bush may have an advantage over most of the field, but even with all the resources he has going for him the others don’t, he’s still a terrible candidate.

I hope Perry beats his legal trouble and sweeps in later with dustpan and brush to clean up the mess.

"....In January, Mr. Bush’s allies started using the phrase “shock and awe” to describe his plan to lock up as many of the party’s major donors and policy experts as possible.

If that doesn't warm your heart... They sure have the pulse of the grassroots.

“As Governor Bush considers the possibility of a run, he’s working hard to earn the support of people throughout the party and deliver a positive message about how conservative reforms can restore opportunity and prosperity for more Americans,”

I think Bush has ruled out just about every “conservative reform” on the table...not sure what he would bring other than maybe an Obama-lite type of presidency?

There is also lingering suspicion of Mr. Bush among the Tea Party grass roots

No, not lingering suspicion, determination never to vote for Bush, ever.
The lingering suspicion is that Walker is a blocker for Bush and a stealth amnesty candidate.

From the article:

"Aides have assured worried supporters that Mr. Bush, a former Florida governor, will spend more time on the stump, honing his message, cultivating grass-roots enthusiasm and winning over local leaders and ordinary Republican voters."

Which begs the question - "were you lying then or are you lying now?"

If Jeb gets any bigger I'll expect to see him followed around by a set of Twi'lek dancers and a rancor.

Even the NYT knows that the GOP base has figured out that Jeb is a looser.
I expect the NYT to start pushing Carly and/or the Huckster next.
