The only way you could be sicker than the folks at Salon would be if if you somehow wanted to use Salon for your toilet paper.

This guy is so naive and stupid to believe Iran will honor any agreement with anyone.

The framework under discussion would freeze things in place for at least 10 years.
This brilliant individual actually believes that a regime that has lied about every single thing they have ever done, will suddenly find religion and keep an agreement with the United States and some other nations. Although these other nations WANT Iran to have the weapon for exactly the reasons that Iran wants the weapon. To destroy or mitigate Israel.
But don't worry, its still Bushes fault.

Given how absolutely terrible the “agreement” with (aka appeasement-based capitulation to) Iran is, I imagine our allies will breath a sigh of relief when a conservative President and Congress wipe away any traces of the “agreement.”

That is a completely lame article...doesn’t state the Republican side fairly at all and is a one dimensional view of a three dimensional issue.
For example, it is not just Russia that has lost it’s fear of the US...let’s add North Korea, Iran, China, Syria, etc. etc.
Let’s also add to the list of allies who can not trust this administration...Australia, England, Israel, Saudi Arabia, etc. etc. etc.
Very poorly written article.

Is this article about Obama?
To: Cincinatus' Wife
It’s one of those perpetual questions that defy an easy answer:
Is Simon Maloy merely a credulous fool and a dupe, or is Simon Maloy an evil SOB?
While I believe that strong arguments can be made for either proposition, the most reasonable conclusion is that he is both.

As for our allies, the claim that they can no longer trust us is typically a reference to Israel and the ongoing spat between Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Iran policy and the two-state solution with the Palestinians. Somehow for the liberals, it all comes back to the Jews, doesn't it?
What about other allies that can no longer trust us, like Poland and the Czech Republic, who had their defense agreements with the United States gutted?
Or Ukraine, who the current U.S., and European Union, governments allowed to be invaded?
What about Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan, whose governments have had to fight off the waves of radicalized insurgents with the more than tacit approval of the White House?
What about the United Kingdom, who has been snubbed time and time again in the diplomatic world?
What about France, who walked out of the nuclear talks with Iran because they felt like they didn't have a voice to be heard in the negotiations?
That's right, none of that matters. It's just about the Jews. The other nations weren't really our allies anyway. At least not to our current President.

“On their first day as president, theyll break our word to our allies. Im referring, of course, to the multilateral negotiations on Irans nuclear program,...”
Hmmm. So the author thinks Iran is our ally? Typically, you would expect to see allies sharing common goals and shared interests. I would be very curious to see any actual reality based evidence that suggests common goals.
My only speculation is that Iran, Obama and Salon share common goals. I don’t see where America gets into that equation.

What an ignorant article.

If Iran is our ally what does that make Israel?

I read these Salon articles just to see what crazy people thing. Ones who can’t stop talking and write voluminous screeds.
