Then why does he, as a Christian, hate other Christians?

As disgusting as Obama is in the smart assed way he likes to demean Christians, I find the laughter from the audience really disturbing and reprehensible.
Who are these people?

And I have to say that, sometimes when I listen to other less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned. I don't know what the pResident was talking about - because intentionally left out specifics - but I must say that I get concerned when people mislabel "love" as assenting to someone's wishes even if it is harmful.
If someone is committing spiritual suicide, the last thing a Christian should be doing is encouraging them to continue on the path of perdition. This is more an act of self-love. People prefer the praise of man over honoring God and loving their neighbor. Real love includes 'tough love' - even if it means telling someone what they don't want to hear.

Another B.S. strawman from our vaunted president. Is his term done yet?
To: rightwingintelligentsia
He says he is “suppose” to love. Strange language to me
To: rightwingintelligentsia
Did he say that we have to get off our high horse, and reflect on what happened in medieval Europe and the Crusades and inquisitions and such???

Yes-men, sycophants, and enemies of America.

Love does not mean approving of everything someone does.
Any rational person should understand that.
It is not love to allow a person to enter into danger without warning him.
Any rational person should understand that.
.................................................
I would add ‘grown up’ to ‘rational’.
Obama is still the spoiled child he has always been. He has never grown up.

He has a clever way of making certain groups a target for destruction, ha? The only people feeling his love right now are the ones beheading, crucifying, raping, committing genocide and lieing 24/7 to get more power to kill those Christians he is so “concerned” about.
To: skeeter
This putz must stay up at night thinking of the most absolutely irritating things he could possibly say.
He doesn't have to. He spent many years practicing on college campuses.
To: SGCOS
It was funny because as soon as he said it, they figured he was going to start in on a screed about the crusades or some such crap. They were relieved, so they laughed. I think that it was an unintentional use of irony as a humorous vehicle. Not a belly laugh, but still funny.

Tolerance of evil isn't love. It's evil. Obama doesn't even make a good wolf in sheep's clothing.
