Reading between the lines: Obama threatens the few remaining U.S. allies in the Middle East with additional “Arab Springs”, to include the re-Muslim Brotherhooding of Egypt...and all for not going along with his plans to make Iran the dominant power in the Middle East.

imagine lecturing the Saudis on their “underemployed” youth?

This is a Kingdom where all citizens have universal health coverage including access to the finest medical facilities in the world if needed. Where other arabs and 3rd worlders are hired for menial work the Saudi’s deign.

The first poofter has forgotten the hand that fed him and sent him through Harvard - Saudi royal money. Got to wonder why he’s going all shia on our foreign policy now

It’s almost impossible to get both Israel and the Saudis to hate yer guts simultaneously, but Obama is really pulling it off, I see.

Of course lecturing these countries on their internal problems is designed to misdirect the world into thinking that these planned revolutions are spontaneous/popular uprisings of the people.

Obama is pro-Muslim because he’s anti-Western. In Marxist theory, Arab violence stems from colonial oppression, not Islamic ideology. People are REALLY driven by class interest, not religion. Religion is simply a pacifier for the masses.

Obama sees the caliphate as a balance to the oppression of the rapacious West.

It’s difficult to believe that people buy this, but they do. It’s easier for irreligious people to swallow, though.

The differences between the Saudi monarchy and the Taliban are really not all that great.

You may be right. I just always viewed the “House of Saud” as being much more secular than the taliban. But I may not be right in that view.

"I think the biggest threats that they face may not be coming from Iran invading... It's going to be from dissatisfaction inside their own countries." ... "that our friends in the region, our traditional Sunni states, have some very real external threats, but they also have some internal threats." He highlighted the "threat" of "populations that, in some cases, are alienated, youth that are underemployed, an ideology that is destructive and nihilistic, and in some cases, just a belief that there are no legitimate political outlets for grievances."
In case you wondered what Obama has been using as his model of governance.

It appears the new United States foreign policy is to blow up the Middle East and let Iran pick up the pieces.

Or perhaps to let Iran start a nuclear arms race which eventually blows it up and let the Muslim Brotherhood pick up the pieces.

Obama doesn’t have a model of governance...he has a model of grievance. Which eventually leads to Sharia.
