As a declared presidential candidate, Senator Rand Paul (R., Ky.) should generate even bigger headlines when he addresses black audiences, as he has at Howard University and other venues. When he was executive of mainly Democratic Milwaukee County, Governor Scott Walker (R., Wis.) appealed to black voters; his reelection majorities consistently increased.

If no one is telling or forcing blacks (90% of them optimistically) what to do and the cops are off their backs, how are they losing ground? They will vote for the guy or party that makes that happen for them. They don’t expect to get rich (other than the lottery or theft) or prosper off of hard work (acting white). A Conservative candidate or his principles will never appeal to them.
