Just 15 days before the 9/11 attacks, a well-connected Saudi family suddenly abandoned their luxury home in Sarasota, Fla., leaving behind jewelry, clothes, opulent furniture, a driveway full of cars — including a brand new Chrysler PT Cruiser — and even a refrigerator full of food.
About the only thing not left behind was a forwarding address. The occupants simply vanished without notifying their neighbors, realtor or even mail carrier.
The 3,300-square-foot home on Escondito Circle belonged to Esam Ghazzawi, a Saudi adviser to the nephew of then-King Fahd. But at the time, it was occupied by his daughter and son-in-law, who beat a hasty retreat back to Saudi Arabia just two weeks before the attacks after nearly a six-year stay here.
Neighbors took note of the troubling coincidence and called the FBI, which opened an investigation that led to the startling discovery that at least one “family member” trained at the same flight school as some of the 9/11 hijackers in nearby Venice, Fla.

Not sure of the point of this post, but keep in mind that the Bush FBI Director took office on September 4, 2001 which left about a week for him to organize the conspiracy involving 911. :)
I stopped reading when I read this wealthy family had a PT Cruiser. I wonder if the author has ever met or even seen wealthy Arabs. They don’t drive PT Cruisers.
Want a great example of a bloated, ineffective government agency. Look no further than the Port Authority of NY?NJ. They actually owned the Twin Towers that the Saudis destroyed. Instead of initiating a civil suit to recover damages (over $3 trillion), this agency ignores Congressional findings and ups tolls on bridges and tunnels to pay for its “Freedom Tower”.
The FBI has had shady dealings since at least the time of JEdger.
They certainly have done a banner job of discrediting the investigation by the FBI and the leaked results of Able Danger.
Obviously there’s nothing there. Heck, all it took was inserting a POS PT Cruiser in this case.

If you are a Saudi of ‘substance’...you drive a BMW, an Audi, Mercedes, or possibly a Lincoln. But a PT Cruiser?
If this was an insider....he was one by accident. Curious question to ask....what happened to this guy and his family after 9-11? Do they spend the next decade in Saudi Arabia? Have they relocated again....to Spain or Italy?
This is an important topic, and it there are many sinister mysteries linked to that flight school.

The FBI should be “investigating” Madame Clinton & Co., if anything. But we may as well forget about that.
I'm not sure US voters are aware enough of how wrong the US policy is in the Middle East, and that includes our favorite conservatives. Saudi Arabia is responsible for funding a lot of the real bad guys, yet there's not one US pol who speaks out against them.

They’re covering for Iran. Iran backs the Saudi Hezbollah- same group that bombed Khobar Towers. Iran-backed Hezbollah also helped in the planning of the attacks on US ships- the failed USS The Sullivans plot and later the USS Cole. The planning of the bombing of the USS Cole took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in Jan 2000... and according to one report the two 9/11 hijackers who attended that meeting and were met at the airport by the Iraqi [with the phone numbers of a bunch of terrorists in his possession] stayed at the apartment of Iran’s ambassador to Malaysia. After that meeting the hijackers flew to California and the Iraqi was caught after he left Malaysia, detained for a bit by Jordan before fleeing to Iraq. Other articles specifying ownership of the apartment they stayed in seem scarce.
Meanwhile, Iranian UN diplomats were caught scouting target sites in NY. [That incident was reported oddly too.]
Iran wasn’t stupid enough to use its own nationals on 9/11. Neither was Iraq... both Iran and Iraq’s intel services were meeting with bin Laden in Sudan, hosted by Sudan’s Turabi/Tourabi. KSM, the planner of 9/11, was not a religious guy, he could work with anyone.
The Iran & Iraq-friendly Sudanese official, Turabi, also has a Florida connection- he was a speaker at events held by the Sami al Arian crowd.
But there’s a lot of special interests wanting relations with Iran eased and the folks that toppled the Shah and decided to use non-Afghan fighters against the Russians in Afghanistan instead of local Afghans like Massood are now in charge again.
