Not bad.

But in my opinion, “The Death of Mary Queen of Scots” made for better radio...

Fot those interested, I would encourage you to read “Roosevelt’s Funeral Train” by Robert Klara.

There’s everything in this book - railroad history, a betrayed widow, politicking, etc.

I think the reviews on Amazon.com would bear me as as to how good this book is.

I really, REALLY like the idea of an FR University. This could be an AMAZING tool.

I’d never heard the rumor of FDR committing suicide until recently. Deteriorating health......pushed that morning out to his favorite tree, pulled a .45 from under the blanket draped over his lap and then shot himself in the head. “Cerebral hemorrhage” = gunshot to the head. Closed casket, even his son was not allowed to view body. Hmmmmmm

FR has been a college education for me over the years ... especially with helping me to formulate thought and compose something I might actually read ... if someone else had composed it

FDR was actually more like Stage 2 (and, depending upon one’s opinion of Abraham Lincoln, possibly even Stage 3).

Woodrow Wilson did MORE than his share to bring about socialism in this country.

If you want a tremendous read on the POS socialist read The Roosevelt Myth by John T Flynn.

FDR’s death came many years too late for the economy, but just in time to keep him from promising Stalin any more of Europe and the entirety of Germany and just in time to allow for the country to begin recovering post war.

The worthless bastard promised Stalin he could take control of Germany and eastern Europe, dismantle and move factories to the USSR, force the German people to relocate and become an agrarian socialist society in support of the Soviet Union among other things. He became president when the economy was beginning to take an upturn from the start of the depression and imposed socialist edicts that threw the economy back down the craphole; much as obama has done today.

FDR lived too long to do too much harm.

In my opinion, FDR’s only good accomplishment was the Manhattan Project.

Which wound up ultimately providing the Soviets with the bomb.
