“Say what you will about the man, but ‘Neutron Jack’ knows vision and leadership. Impressing him is a big win for Ted Cruz.”

Jack Welch was one of the best CEO’s ever, when he ran GE it was very successfull. Part of his philosophy was when a division got to 300 million he would start another similar division producing the same thing and they would compete. Very much a believer in capitalism and competition. When Imelt took over he did the socialist thing, bought AOL, created time Warner and lost $.

Fascinating, and a great capitalist mental exercise. Everyone imagine if this happened at your workplace, they set up an operation exactly like yours 15 miles away..... what would be the results?

In mine, the statists/unionists would stay at the original site while the real value-adders would move to the new and wipe the original site out of business.
