A bombshell revelation has emerged about the incident responsible for the greatest U.S. Air Force loss of life during the War on Terror, the deadliest green-on-blue attack during U.S. involvement in Afghanistan.
On April 27, 2011, Afghan Air Force Colonel Ahmad Gul gunned down eight U.S. Air Force personnel and a civilian contractor inside the Afghan Air Force headquarters, including investigators who had just arrived in the country to examine rampant corruption in the Afghan military.
Multiple Air Force and CENTCOM investigations claimed to find no motive for the attack, leaving the families of those killed with no answers.
Now, a senior U.S. official has gone on the record claiming that a United Nations team tracked substantial payments to the killer and his family made days just prior to the incident.
The Pentagon cover-up began almost immediately after the massacre, most likely to avoid embarrassing revelations of rampant corruption by our Afghan allies. The initial report had to be followed up by a second and third report after the lies in the first began to be challenged including the first reports claim that Gul had committed suicide after the attack, but was later found to have died from gunshot wounds to the chest from two different weapons.
Despite overwhelming evidence to the effect found in their own reports, the Pentagon claimed to find no conclusive evidence of Taliban involvement even though the terror group immediately claimed credit for the attack.
This resulted in bizarre reporting on the Pentagons findings, such as an Air Force Times article entitled Motive in Kabul shooting deaths remains elusive that reported:

If this isn’t NJCT material, I don’t know what is.
It sure was annoying to read. I couldn’t get through it

Thanks Nachum. ... Is this from The Onion?
The VA is killing a lot more vets than this guy did, and the VA employees are doing it for exactly the same reason: their wallets! And they get away with it!
Did OBAMA give the Afghan Col the money??? Wouldn’t surprise me.
What else to expect from 5 years of corrupt Obola regime promotions and a guilty press “corpse”?

‘Died’ s/b ‘does’
(I read downthread; now I know what it stands for.... )
See post #13.
Was there in Kabul when this happened and remember it well. Knew a couple of the individuals that were killed. One of them attended the Chapel with me, was a lay reader and sang in the choir. Heartbreaking to know he had a wife and two young children. I’ve never been so angry in my life knowing the ROE and how it went down. Even back then the scuttlebutt was that the military was holding information back about how the COL was in, then off the grid and then was let back in.
Eight US killed for $250,000. paid for "blue on Green",
Givien the fact that Obama paid $ 5 million for Bergdahl plus the 5 prisioners from GTIMO ; and they have always demanded $5 Million ransom per prisoner
Obama is subsidizing another 152 officers to be killed by more "Blue on Green" crimes.
You may call it leadership ; I call it capitulation and leading from behind, and aiding and abetting the enemy. !
I wouldn’t be surprised if Hummus Boo Boo Brennan & baQuack sponsored the Col’s family to come over to the good old USA to show thanks for a jihad well done.
Thanks for the ping.
