Yesterday’s report on country singer Tim McGraw’s pending appearance in a benefit concert for Sandy Hook Promise drew more response than anything that’s ever appeared on shotgunnews.com. By quite a measure. Clearly, this struck a nerve.

That is the promise Thomas J Dodd and Emanuel Cellar said back in 1962.
“We don’t want to take your guns away, WE ONLY want to register handguns! Long guns will not be affected!”
Now they want to register and ban anything they can.
As if contemporary country wasn’t bad enough. Now their politics stink, too. Outlaw country is dead. Maybe he should remake the old Hank Williams Jr song “Country boy can survive”

...and it’s sensible comments like that that will result in being diagnosed as unfit to own/possess guns. I really think that’s where this is going. Who decides who is crazy? My guess is, some leftist, atheist, gun control pshrink. You really believe in all that Bible stuff? You’re crazy. You want to own guns as a counterbalance to ultimately thwart a tyrannical government? You’re crazy.
That’s why this must never be permitted even a toehold.
