“Actually, just say yes and throw other issues back at them.”
I would answer, “It’s a states issue, and what does this have to do with 47 million people on food stamps, 90 million people out of the job force and millions of homeless? Wouldn’t it be selfish of a President whose main concern is whether Dave and Bruce have a piece of paper? And for that matter, isn’t this question pushing an agenda rather than asking a real question?”
Force it back on them.
“If you dont have the courage to stand up and say NO! then you dont deserve my support.”
I’ll have to agree with you. It does no good to whine about a question being asked to smear someone. It has always been done; it will always be done. If you say you are against gay marriage (which means you think it is wrong) and then say you would attend a gay marriage (which means you are agreeing with it) then you are saying one of your positions on the concept is a lie. The voter has to guess which one.
Cupp is exactly right. The Republican candidates should not fall into the DNC/MSM trap like they did in 2012.
Two words: "Paul LePage". Ignored what the lefties did, and cleaned up in Maine!
... Can you hear me now?
Although I agree totally with your position, I refuse to feed the insanity and irrationality of the anti-religion crowd by arguing from any religion.
There are more than enough arguments from secular philosophy and historical bad examples to persuasively appeal to the mentally sane and informed. I truly believe that we still outnumber the pervert pro-sodomy sickos, whatever their position in life might be.
Really classy.
Embarrassing, too.
I hope you’re right, but I see no evidence of it. The American people are so depraved they elected the Obamanation. Twice. The electorate tends to elect candidates that reflect their own righteousness, or their own depravity.
He was elected maaaybe once.
The second time was voter fraud. No doubt in my mind..
You can give a person money, but you can’t give them class or grace.
