“workers are so opposed to signing up that they chased labor leaders off their porches at gunpoint”
It’s long past due that union thugs get a taste of their own medicine.
Former member of the IAW and the UAW.
I wasn’t very popular, as I was going to college at night to escape their nonsense.
I worked around union dorks on Construction jobs. They tried to bar us from working at a site they were striking one time. Dumb thugs brought clubs. We showed our bang sticks and they rethought their position on letting us in. Never had another problem at that site.
Good for you G, sometimes you just can’t be on their side.
When you are of sound mind you can’t let the “lapel grabbers” force you to think their way. Labor relations has always been a sticky business for both Management and Labor. A hot head on either side ruins it for all of the company employees and stockholders. Been there, done that. It is amazing how usually normal people become when the thugs get them riled up. Unions have had their place in history but now have been weakened by choosing the wrong battles at the wrong time. Eastern Airlines is a good example. I stopped paying dues 17 years before I retired. Saved about $50,000. They had ceased to represent the core of our group and couldn’t be ousted. Had a few loyal friends after that but found out who was not.
