A fiery Joe Scarborough on Tuesday denounced the media's double standard when it comes to investigating the scandal engulfing the Clinton Foundation's financial dealings. An angry Scarborough erupted "The Clintons have made $150 million over the past decade because of contacts they made during public service!" He described the typical journalist reaction as "Let's bow down before Bill and Hillary, because if we ask the same questions of them that we ask of every other politician, then oh, my God! We have crossed a line!"
Scarborough's outburst was a result of Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski's skeptical questioning of Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer. She read a quote from the writer's book in which he suggested, "There is nothing clearly illegal about these payments, but their source, size and timing raise questions." This led Brzezinski to complain, "Your book is questions. I just wonder how does that not be interpreted as clearly political? There's nothing here that's evidence of illegality."
Schweizer shot back: "I don't think the standard at NBC News or any news organization would be we only report things when we have evidence of illegality." He added that "a pattern of behavior of self enrichment" by the Clintons deserves scrutiny.

Would they have made nearly that much money if Hillary hadn't gone on with a political career? They weren't being paid for past service... they were being paid for present and future service.
I met Joe Scarborough at Clinton Global Initiative meeting in 2011. (I was CEO of disaster response organization then.) He was there to interview Bill Clinton and other VIPs on his morning show. He’s “in the club.”
He is as you say, “in the club”.
He pops up with these more conservative sounding scoldings to Mika, for ratings, but then puts his head down and climbs back over to the left side of the fence.
Joe no longer is even exposed to conservative thought, and it shows. His arrogance has overtaken him, as he is set up on Morning Joe to appear as the smartest one in the room. Yuk. ( I watch the show on DVR, btw.)
He wants a new gig, figures Press Secretary at the minimum for the next President, a Republican.
