Unless things have changed, unless you are a lawyer (or a student under supervision at a legal clinic), a student can’t give “legal advice”.

I never went to law school, and I can give legal advice. So can you. We just can't charge for it.

lol, indeed, but the BAR, being what it is, gets really ticked off at non-lawyers.

I remember when the gag was lifted and they started advertising on TV. uggg

Working for a private attorney after interning at the County Attorney reminded me of why I did NOT want to work for an attorney. I wrote the pleadings, he just signed off when I could get him to.
