My Uncle was killed by the French Marines as the first officer killed in the landing of N. Africa. My great....great Grandfather fought in the N. Carolina militia against King George. If we had a bunch of SpecOps guys killed overseas in a thousands of miles long desert mission, the response would be, “Well, why didn’t they train for it the same way they were going to do it? We have desert, too, that they can train in.”
FYI we the taxpayers spent 96 million bucks to build a modern city on one of our military bases. They can dang well train there.
Listening to these talking heads they send out telling us how the Special Forces will go into cities to “blend in” is insane on its face. They blend in naturally because duh they are Americans. Its surreal!
