I don't live in Kentucky and have no idea who the best Republican for governor would be.

I post this to demonstrate the vindictiveness of Mitch McConnell.

I live in Kentucky and the vindictiveness of Mitch McConnell is worse than you can imagine. He is a despicable (barely) human being.

Harry Reid’s Bitch is the most underhanded traitor in the District of Corruption and that takes some doing.

McConnell will be remembered in history as the scum of
Kentucky who turned upon the voters for al Qaeda
and Indonesia and Iran.

*****************************************************************************************************

He wants to steal the Maryland Terp’s unofficial slogan of “Fear the Turtle”.

McConnell is nothing more than a vile, vindictive old man completely lacking in a morale core and lacking in the insight to be able to recognize that and correct his course.

I dont like Bevin but I would be happy if Bevin(who is weak on immigration) or another candidate, who was an immigration hawk, would screw over power couple Rand McConnell and Mitch McConnell.

Senator McConnell has a death grip on the Kentucky Republican party.

He was instrumental in forcing Jim Bunning to retire from the Senate only to fall short of seeing his handpicked candidate take over the seat. The Ron Paul/Rand Paul campaign structure had deep pockets and an experienced get-out-the-vote machine. That, and a well-timed endorsement from Sarah Palin, was just enough to overcome the McConnell machine.

Going forward, it will be very difficult for a traditional candidate to stand up against his influence.

By what merit is McConnell a conservative? He is as much a usurper as BO

Anyone McConnell is against should be considered carefully as someone likely to be worthy of support. If Bevin will give McConnell heartburn for four years by being in the governor’s mansion, I’m all in.

I suspect McConnell’s main worry is a conservative getting an important foothold in the state party apparatus. And if Bevin is elected governor, due to the bitter Bevin/McConnell primary battle last year I’m sure McConnell feels he’s not going to be able to coopt Bevin the way he has coopted Rand.

“”If Matt Bevin had moved to a state where he had a better shot at being elected to office as a Democrat, he would articulate the values of liberalism with the same conviction he now talks about conservatism,” Holmes said in a statement.”

Sounds like he’s taking about McConnell, someone whose following the campaign money.

Here's a clue: Go FOR the one Mitch McConnell hates the most. I can't wait 'til that crusty old fart, Mitch McConnell dies and goes on to that big Senate Cloak Room in the sky............. or wherever.

Mitch McConnell has expended much more funds, energy, enthusiasm against this former primary opponent than he has against any Democrat.

Hey Matt, since your family bell making business is in CT, I think you'd be a great CT governor...(and yes, I'd support you).

Of course, I think my nephew who was just born could do a better job as governor of Connecticut, then Danell Malloy.
