The National Security Agency's massive data collection program has prompted lawsuits, internal reviews and a fierce congressional debate over whether to scrap it.
But Director of National Intelligence James Clapper apparently forgot the program even existed during a key hearing two years ago.

Face it guys, you’re either in Government, law enforcement included and part of that special people immune unless caught red handed on film in front of 3 witnesses to even have a chance at indictment which only leads to a few weeks home confinement, or you’re just an ordinary Joe 3-6 months worth of paychecks till you’re broke, getting your dogs shot, your home school kids harassed, your small businesses monitored and harassed if part of operation choke point, cash confiscated under vague policy from some vague laws, and audited and harassed by the IRS and DOJ if you speak out too loudly.
He's proven himself to be either a) A LIAR, or b) A FOOL.
Either way he should be booted out immediately.
But this stuff isn't funny any more.
The government does whatever the hell it wants and when they get caught, their whole excuse is "Oops" and then everything is all better.

Between Obama, his appointees, and Hillary, I’ve lost track of all the “whoops, oops, durr, and hurrs” that we’ve gotten. As dumb as they’d try to have us believe they are, i’m surprised they don’t walk out with their underwear on the outside of their pants, and two shoes that don’t match.
Typical of today’s government. Their excuses range from:
A) forgot
B) it just happened
C) who knew it was in the bill we didn’t read
D) didn’t know about it until they saw it on tv
E) it was an accident
F) they weren’t informed until later
G) due to global warming
H) due to budget cuts
I) had to make tee time
J) on vacation
K) demonic exercise equipment
L) campaign trail is more important
M) it’s the economy, man
N) whitey’s fault
O) GOP’s fault
P) Putin’s fault
Q) Walmart’s fault
R) Bush’s fault
That excuse was put out there because approximately 50% of the public will believe it .... and probably vote for Benghazi Clinton whose memory is just as faulty.
What a liar! Clapper had to be aware of the huge allocation of memory space needed for the NSA data collection of the American people’s communications. That required the real estate and the building of memory farms, costing $billions. This type of deceptive false testimony should get prison terms. Those on the committee have knowledge of the legal system. Why are they not applying their legal skills?
