The U.S. Supreme Court issued an Order this morning denying the Petition for Writ of Certiorari in the Wisconsin John Doe case.

The SCOTUS likely rejected it because the appeal was on such a minor point, in such a major case.
Is this good or bad?
Bad, but not real bad.
I suspect the SCOTUS rejected this because it viewed the John Doe laws of Wisconsin to be a state issue. This is a BIG issue for Wisconsin.
Lots of avenues for relief on the state level. The Wisconsin Supreme Court is controlled by conservatives and has a recently elected conservative Cheif Justice.
SCOTUS turns down hearing Wisconsin’s John Doe case.

I think they refused to grant cert since the case is already at the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which must apply federal laws that apply as well as any state laws in the case. Pretty sure this thing gets tossed at the State Supreme Court level.
For those who are cube-bound, sum it up.
Is this in reference to the Leftists using the police to destroy their opponents, as was reported on FR earlier?
Good in the sense, this is purely a state issue....
Bad in the sense the left media in Wisconsin will bury this story....
These scumbags need to be exposed to the entire country....

That’s OK. We have other courses to take.
That POS John Chisholm is going to meet Karma real soon. She’s sharpening her nails and finishing her Martini; she’ll get to him. :)
Yes.
Man is that true
Walker is HEROIC for standing up to this thug creep.
It's mind boggling that he did this. The Cheka comes to America...
Yes. But, there are other places to hear this case. Now that wee have a conservative majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the case should be filed there.
Wow, what a horrible situation. The Lefties in Wisconsin are really out of their minds with hate.
With the screaming nut-job former Chief Justice freaking out about it.
One of the things that has puzzled me for a long time is why Scott Walker did not issue pardons in the John Doe investigations long ago.
Seemingly, he could have nipped this in the bud and saved many people, all conservative supporters, lots of personal grief.
