CNN broke it too, just now.

Norwegian #Dawn Small boat sent out to check for damage. Stick hi and dry on a reef. #Bermuda in background.
Ughh, another reason why hubby will never go on cruise.
OPEN BAR!!!
Yeah right!
How does any ship run aground these days with the sea levels rising so drastically? I mean even if the charts are off, they should be off by being deeper than they actually are.
I would have guessed Sven was a better navigator than that.

Fung Wah Cruises?
Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this [great big] ship.
The mate was a mighty sailing man,
The skipper brave and sure.
2,675 passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.
The weather started getting rough,
The great big ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The Norwegian would be lost, the Norwegian would be lost.
The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan
The Skipper too,
The millionaire and his wife,
The movie star
The professor and Mary Ann,
Here on some Bermuda isle.
My wife and I were on that ship about five or six years ago. We went from New York to Bermuda and back. It was quite impressive cruising past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, where my grandparents entered the country as immigrants.
I’m glad we didn’t take that cruise this year.
Now how did that happen, with the sea levels rising so much? And I hope they fine the bejeezus out of the captain for damaging the reef.
I must be a really bad person because everytime I hear of one of these cruise ship mishaps, I just laugh myself silly.
I really think those things are so pointless and overpriced.

dang it! I hate it when this happens...........
So who is the captain of this ship? Has anyone seen the Engineer Brandon Bostian?
No way, the consensus of scientists tell us sea levels are rising everywhere. That reef is way below a cruise ship’s keel point. More denier untruth.
I never heard of AZIPOD, so looked it up. Mounted in a "pod", electrically driven, with no propeller shaft, so unit can be mounted a little deeper from the hull to get a clearer flow of water.
What got me is that the propeller faces FORWARD and pulls the ship along, giving better efficiency due to water being less disturbed. AND, the damned thing can rotate in any direction. Gotta make docking a lot easier.
