The official start of summertime in Chicago began violently, with nine people dead and at least 34 others injured in shootings across the city.
Among those injured was a 4-year-old girl, identified by family as Jacele Johnson, who was shot in the head while sitting inside a car outside of a prom party Friday evening. The incident happened at about 8 p.m. near West 70th and South Justine streets in the West Englewood neighborhood.

Why should black lives matter if blacks keep murdering each other to the tune of 50 percent of all homicides are black and 95 percent are black-on-black murders? This tells me the black community has a very serious problem and they are in full blown denial. It's more convenient to blame whitey or racism or anything else rather than confront the real problem.
