Meet Gulmurod Khalimov, the US-trained and funded former commander of Tajikistan's special forces, who, as Reuters reports, has now gone to Syria to fight with ISIS. He has a message: "Listen, you American pigs, I’ve been three times to America, and I saw how you train fighters to kill Muslims...God willing, I will come with this weapon to your cities, your homes, and we will kill you."
As Reuters reports:
Colonel Gulmurod Khalimov commanded the Central Asian nation’s special-purpose police known as OMON, used against criminals and militants. He disappeared in late April, prompting a search by Tajik police.
He reappeared Wednesday, vowing to bring jihad to Russia and the United States as he brandished a cartridge belt and sniper rifle, in a professionally made, 10-minute video clip posted in social networks.

Tajikistan is going to ISIS? Funny how this JV team seem to be decisively winning. Iraq will either wholly go to ISIS or split between ISIS and Iran. North Africa is going to ISIS in large part with the exception of Egypt. West Africa has Boko Haram/ISIS. It is close to a done deal when you consider the drift of Turkey and Pakistan. Tell me there is something positive in the Muslim world because I can’t see it.
Can’t wait for ISIS to draw Russia into the mix. The Russians might actually fight back.

Obama could give the word and the military could destroy ISIS in a few weeks with minimal casualties. Failure to do this means that he owns them AND ALL THAT THEY DO. This is on him.

I think you underestimate ISIS.
These people have been fighting against us for more than a decade....against our ground troops, air power, drones and special forces. Some within ISIS were trained in our tactics by the US military itself!
The longer you fight an enemy, the harder it becomes to defeat them.
The obvious answer is to change the tactics we use against ISIS. Well, first, that would take a commitment to actually destroy ISIS (which Obama will not give).
Second, the US military does not change tactics quickly. That is why we fought VietNam as if it was World War II and lost many lives to that mistake.
I am afraid that ISIS will not be an easy defeat for us.
We fought Vietnam with incredible constraints. The NVA overran the South with a conventional armored blitz that would have looked familiar to Guderian after we decamped.
We have fought in Afghanistan and Iraq with similar constraints. We shouldn’t be surprised at the results.
We’re not serious about addressing the root cause ideology that is the problem. Until we are, we should stay out of the Middle East.

I think this man is a really dangerous hombre and is going to be a big problem. He’s not just some whacked jihadi fresh out of the local mosque.
