If a country is providing the cheap labor American Corporations need to maximize profit, it does not matter that they might be a threat to the U.S., they still get our tax dollars.

“Boeing, which is also no one’s idea of a small business, is the leading recipient of Ex-Im Bank aid. In fiscal year 2014 alone, Ex-Im Bank devoted 40 percent of its budget — $8.1 billion — to projects aiding Boeing. No wonder Ex-Im Bank is often called “Boeing’s bank.”

This is true, but how do Boeing’s competitors operate? They are heavily subsidized by their governments. Without a similar subsidy in the US, Boeing would not be able to sell on the world market.

It would be better if airplane manufacturers competed in a free market, but until that happens there is no point to unilateral disarmament.

Huh.. I seem to remember a major anti-Cruz GOP effort on the bank a couple months (year?) ago.. Cruz wanted to shut it down and all the GOPe’s were tearing into him for it.

EXIM can also hurt other US businesses while helping some...

US and EU airlines have all agreed to a moratorium on gov’t back export financing. However, this does not apply to ASIA and Middle East Airline that because of cheap US and EU rates, can finance aircraft and undercut EU and US airlines. How do you think these ASIAN and ME airlines can offer all the luxury while the US and EU can't on the same routes.
