Some years ago Little Miss Lurkin graduated from college. The graduation speaker was some lady U.N. type from Africa.
She kept telling the graduates to have “piss in your hats”
Though Little Miss Lurkin seems to think the gal was saying something hearts and peace.
11 years ago, I graduated from the Univ of Minnesota.
I was in my early 40’s and was a non-traditional student but I chose to go thru Commencement.
Our commencement speaker was a judge from the Intl Court of Justice!
This guy was a total dickhead. It was all of this “The United States needs to become a team player in intl relations...blah...blah...blah”.
At the end, many of the students stood up and cheered. I sat in my seat, thinking “Jeez, do you guys really have your heads up your butts or what!”
The guy sitting next to me sat in his chair too. I looked over at him and nodded. He nodded back at me.
I was kinda irritated after all the effort I put in that I couldn’t even be lucky enough to have a decent commencement speaker.
