Obama and Lynch Sponsor Study of Far Right Groups Like Christians and Patriots
Red Statements ^ | Steven Ahle

Posted on 06/03/2015 4:29:44 AM PDT by HomerBohn

Obama and Lynch have combined to pay for a study by Michigan State University to study right wing groups and their use of the social media and how it evolves into violence. Many of you may remember that back in April of 2013, it was revealed that the DHS was sponsoring state lessons on the danger of violence that would be perpetrated by Christians and “sovereign citizens”. (Patriots) I remember it well because I am the investigative journalist that broke the story as many of my longtime readers can attest to. The story went national when Glenn Beck read my expose on The Blaze:

(fast forward to 4:40)

http://www.video.theblaze.com/media/video.jsp?content_id=26138049

It was I who found a courageous Colorado undersheriff who agreed to come forward with his story. That officer, Ron Trowbridge came forward even though it opened him up to ridicule by the state police and eventually cost him his job. (His wife Shelli, besides being very supportive of her husband bakes the best oatmeal raisin cookies ever……….ever) He wrote his story out for me in a letter which I published at the time:

From: rtrowbridge@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To:xxxxxxxxxxhotmail.com Subject: CSP Training Date: Fri, 5 Apr 2013 10:30:22 -0600

On April 1, 2013 I attended training in La Junta, Colorado hosted by the Colorado State Patrol (CSP). The training was from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and covered two topics, Sovereign Citizens, and Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. I was pretty familiar with motorcycle gangs but since we often deal with the so-called sovereign citizen groups I was interested to see what they had to say. The group consisted of police officers, deputies, and CSP troopers. There were about 20 people in attendance.

Trooper Joe Kluczynski taught a 2-hour section on sovereign citizens. Kluczynski spent most of his two hours focusing on how, in his view and apparently the view of Homeland Security, people turn to the sovereign citizen movement. Kluczynski started off by saying there are probably some sovereign citizens in this room and gave a generalized list of those groups that have sovereign citizen views. Among those groups, Kluczynski had listed, were those who believe America was founded on godly principles, Christians who take the Bible literally, and “fundamentalists”. Kluczynski did not explain what he meant by “fundamentalists” but from the context it was clear he was referring again to those who took the Bible literally or “too seriously.”

While Kluczynski emphasized that sovereign citizens have a right to their beliefs, he was clearly teaching that the groups he had listed should be watched by law enforcement and should be treated with caution because of their potential to assault law enforcement. Kluczynski explained why he believed these groups were dangerous saying they were angry over the election of a black president. When someone in the group suggested the failing economy was probably much more to blame, Kluczynski intimated that those who are not going along with the changes in America will need to be controlled by law enforcement. Kluczynski even later questioned some of the troopers present if they were willing and prepared to confiscate “illegal” weapons if ordered to.

Kluczynski’s assignment with the CSP was an Analyst for the Colorado Information Analysis Center, (CIAC). CIAC is funded by Homeland Security funds and run by the CSP. Kluczynski said he gets his information from the Department of Homeland Security. Kluczynski said he was leaving the CSP at the end of that week (March 29, 2013) to begin his new career with Homeland Security. I thought he was perfect for the job.

Ron Trowbridge

Undersheriff

Prowers County Sheriff’s Office

The DHS tried to discredit both myself and Undersheriff Trowbridge by issuing the following statement:

“The training referenced in the Undersheriff’s letter was not done in coordination with DHS and no DHS training materials were part of the prepared presentation,” the Homeland Security release read. “DHS provides law enforcement around the country with access to training that focuses on the behaviors and indicators of violent behavior, regardless of the ideology that may motivate it.”

Unfortunately for the DHS and Janet “From Another Planet” Napolitano, I had in my possession a copy of a directive sent out by the DHS to state law enforcement agencies that confirmed everything Undersheriff Trowbridge said was taught at the meeting. The document was prefaced by the following two warnings:

(U)LAW ENFORCEMENT INFORMATION NOTICE: This product contains Law Enforcement Sensitive (LES) information. No portion of the LES information

should be released to the media, the general public, or over non-secure Internet servers. Release of this information could adversely affect or jeopardize investigative activities.

(U)Warning: This document is UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (U//FOUO). It contains information that may be exempt from public release under the

Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552). It is to be controlled, stored, handled, transmitted, distributed, and disposed of in accordance with DHS policy relating to

FOUO information and is not to be released to the public, the media, or other personnel who do not have a valid need-to-know without prior approval of an authorized

DHS official. State and local homeland security officials may share this document with authorized security personnel without further approval from DHS.

And here is that document:

After the story went national, the Colorado State Police ended the program in that state and the DHS had to either ended the program nationwide or they found a better way to keep it out of the public domain. Now, after two years, it appears they are trying to revive the program beginning with a study that will reflect the opinion of Loretta Lynch and Barack Obama who are using over a half a million dollars in taxpayer money.

It is funny that they are so desperate to label Christians and patriots as violent extremists, when they adamantly refuse to say the same thing about ISIS or al Qaeda.

Most patriots are already on government watch lists.

That is true. But I did not think that it was very American for the voters to say, via their votes, “We want a muslim to lead us” times 2.

Why “investigate” when you can just make sh!t up? Which is precisely what they’ll do. Easy money and it serves the agenda.

I would imagine that a generous grant to the SPLC will generate exactly the material they're looking for.

The document PDF at the

link provided is very low resolution, and is well-nigh unreadable. Does anyone know of a better source?

“That study is about you, FReepers.”

Yes, indeed! I suppose we’d better be mulling over our preferences about that whole “dead patriot or live Communist(Muslim?) thing.

as I said .... "and they don’t manufacture the results they want"

For me, it's a 'given' that this is exactly what they will do ... as you both also pointed out. My bad for no 'sarc' tag.

This harkens back to when Pelosi and then DHS chief Napolitano called people “potential terrorists” who were protesting at town halls, or just asking questions there, about the impending Obamacare act.

Does anyone think the NSA will not target people who show any kind of dissent?

And that goes for if/when Republicans are in power as well (which would be good come-uppance for Democrats but still bad for everyone).

Probably a study to understand how their “defined group” communicates so they can more effectively disrupt their communications and conduct a misinformation campaign when they actually attack/ arrest them.

How nice that the Republicrat Congress united with the Communist Democrats to approve this Obamaite as AG. She's just another Holder.

Jeb Bush backed her.

Don’t forget right before the 2010 attempted car bombing in NYC the TEA Party had been called terrorist and the IRS with the corporation of the DoJ had begun demanding the names of anyone associated with the TEA Party groups.

After the attempted bombing, which they tried to blame on the TEA Party, calls were made to round up anyone associated with the TEA Party because they were terrorist.

This is a real head scratcher.

Wonder where they would get the names of TEA Party members to round up or put on terrorist watch list?

Our little lefty friends are so lucky coincidences just fall right in their laps.

Um...it HASN’T evolved into violence.

The entire premise is wrong.

The conclusions will be wrong.

Bottom line: anyone who posts on forums such as FR has been under the watchful eye of the Left - both official government organs, and unofficial volunteer "flying monkeys".

This forum is riddled with them. The threads about the police abusing their power and authority smokes them out. The upside of that is that, if one pays attention to the content of their posts, they eventually expose themselves.

It was easily found. I wonder why the author linked to the low resolution document instead. You would think he would want readers to actually be able to read it (which is why I looked for it).

MSU is a state funded land grant institution. Couldn’t the Republican Legislature in Michigan step in and put a stop to this?

I know, silly thought.
