It is difficult to imagine a less likely GOP presidential campaign stop than O Block.
After all, it’s the most dangerous stretch of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Chicago and one of the toughest territories in the city.....
....“African Americans have been loyal to the Democratic Party,” Pastor Corey Brooks said. “But there is a group of African Americans that feel like the Democratic Party has not been loyal to us.”
Not far from O Block—named for a fallen gang member killed by a female assassin—is New Beginnings Church of Chicago, where Brooks sat in his office Wednesday morning laying out the case for Republican presidential candidates to visit the area.
So far, only Rand Paul already has taken him up on his offer—extended to all candidates of each party.

Agree 100%. The Republicans have and have long had a golden opportunity to get the blacks off the Democratic plantation and offer them real opportunity and real dignity.
They could do something truly good and beneficial to the country as well. Not to mention win elections as far as the eye can see. But they continue to ignore it.
These party bosses are virtually brain dead.
I know the perfect solution, Pastor Corey Brooks. At the next election, elect ALL Democrats.

It’s tough to connect with blacks. The conservative message is sold based on facts and analysis, not emotions, impossible promises and hope & change lies.
I think the republicans should make every possible effort to reach out to those who are finally recognizing how badly they have been used by the democrats.
Who do they think they’re kidding? They would keep voting for Democrats if the Chicago police were shooting them in church.
The pastor should be concerned.
Too many blacks have been willing to sell their souls for the demos. They’ve compromised their beliefs on abortion and gay marriage on behalf of the demos.
They need to get right.

I know members of your church are not noted for being able to conjugate English verbs, but I would expect you to know the difference between “are failing” and “have failed” us.

Hello! Is there any one home? These are the same BLACK CHURCHES along with 95% of all BLACK CHURCHES, that promoted OBAMA in their pulpits for two elections. Never mind that there were people that were telling them that voting for OBAMA was the worst thing any black individual they could vote for. All the while, these same people that were voting for OBAMA were calling any one against OBAMA as “RACISTS”. As that “REVERAND???” from Chicago said “THE CHICKENS HAVE COME HOME TO ROOST.
