Anyone who knows anything about operating systems, virtual address space, user and kernel mode (ie virtual address spaces), processes and threads knows that this article is so wrong on so many technical details that it is worthless.

I’ve seen entire departments throw a spaz and shut down there servers because some programmer left a temporary bourne shell script in /var/tmp and the “security officer” freaked out when some bogus intrusion detection software threw an alarm.

Given the errors in this article I’d chaulk it up to poor propoganda or click bait.

Always remember that the first casualty of war is “Truth”!
