Might run for Congress against Aguilar (D) in the competitive district 31. He ran for it as a rat last time and placed 5th (3rd rat) in the jungle primary.
Just ran as a rat less than a year ago for Mayor of Fontana, CA, against Black Republican incumbent Acquanetta Warren.
He’s a bit old.

Very, very strange. Sounds like opportunism to me. If he runs as a Republican, he’ll surely lose the primary to Paul Chabot, who’s running again.
