Yep, this is some store brand, I wouldn't read anything into it.
Maybe Gaymont is not just a store brand.
“Stephen A. Gaymont, a Hungarian-born bacteriologist who introduced yogurt to the United States in the early 1940’s, died on Friday. He was 89.
The cause of death was an aortic aneurysm, his family said.
Dr. Gaymont was also credited with inventing frozen yogurt as well as marketing the first yogurt with fruit added to it.”

I never knew there was a story behind the name. I guess I was use to Safeway’s Cragmont sodas.
I love the Pumpkin Pie Flavored Yogurt in November/December. It isn’t the Chobani brand, I think I’ve had Greek Yogurt, Oikos or something.
Oh, dear, the top Greek-styled Yogurt from this website by votes is “Fage”; you can’t make this stuff up.
Never had it, I have had the one on that page called “Greek Gods”, I didn’t know that was the name. It was okay and on sale.
It’s probably from the name of a person or place. How unfortunate for them to be saddled with that name.
