All I'll say is that his predecessor wrote an encyclical which everyone in the English language press said was a clarion call for a global banking and finance authority.
But it actually said nothing of the kind.
We'll see what the official Latin text of this encyclical actually says.

What Latin text? Bergoglio has eschewed Latin.
The official text is Italian.
