No. The “rest of the world” would be just fine with taking over its funding if the US ran away from it. It ought not stand, and it certainly cannot be allowed to become an unwieldy enemy entity in the hands of others—bad enough it is an unwieldy enemy entity as it is.
Disagree. The “rest of the world” won’t pay their way now. Our own “Best” neighbor(sarc.) Canada, lived under the protection of our Bomber Wing throughout the entirety of the Cold War and never spent one bloody dollar to help with the costs of their protection.
The UN is so corrupt, it will become fondue when they can’t push America around and live off our generosity. Follow the Bucks. Why wasn’t the corruption of the former U.N. boss prosecuted? Why won’t the continued corruption be prosecuted? The world no longer cares about right and wrong, it only cares about getting the bucks to redistribute into their own pockets.
