> My grandmother was born in the South and not in a hospital, asked one participant. What should she do?
Sometime in the past 90 years she should have gone to get some ID.
This say a helluva lot more about the intelligence of the poll worker than the regs. I read it once in 2-3 seconds and I understand it.
A person incapable of understanding the laws is incompetent and being ID less is denied the vote
>>The objections are ridiculous. You need an ID to get medical services these days.<<
Hell, I was asked for my photo ID to get a visitor’s pass to visit someone in the hospital the other day.
I can just imagine the long line of disappointed people who would visit someone but don’t have ID’s. In fact, I’d have to imagine it because no such line was apparent.
If it’s too difficult for their feeble minds then they are not qualified for the job.
I’d certainly question the “hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites” who lack IDs that the article mentioned.
WI has about 6 million people. Assume 4 million of these are adults. Assume “hundreds of thousands” is 400 to 500,000. So one of every 8 to 10 adults is WI is running around without a photo ID? I’d bet it’s more like one out of two or three hundred. That would work out to tens of thousands of Wisconsinites and that might still be an exaggeration unless they’re counting nursing home residents who are so out of touch they shouldn’t vote anyway.
In short, if you’re a functioning resident of Wisconsin, you probably have a photo ID already. For that matter, if you’re an illegal alien, you probably do also, and legal aliens almost certainly do.
Vote fraud’s best friend is confusion and mis-trust, at least in neighboring IL. Purposely create problem situations at the polls by a few. The evidence of the rare but real problem widely spread in social media will appear like a massive problem.
Then with distrust in the system, have the vans and buses go precinct to precinct with people claiming they registered or were dis-enfranchised, or whatever. Intimidate the local precinct judges who are mostly nice old ladies who avoid confrontation.
The result is 1/3 of the chain voters will be allowed a normal vote. 1/3 will have to cast a provisional ballot. 1/3 will be rejected.
The entire strategy is based on statistics and analysis of the statistical probabilities of human nature.
Union goons cannot understand the rules. Duh.
Just look at the source of this article — it’s Union Propaganda and not at all true. I doubt that any election worker is confused. We’ve already had voter ID for one election before it was yanked, and everything went smoothly.
