If you fail to exercise proper due diligence on a background check on an employee and they harm someone intentionally as in raping them and a background check would have revealed that the employee had a prior conviction for that same act guess what? You’re getting sued.
Background checks just make good sense unless you’re a criminal with a checked past.
I agree with that. It’s so easy to understand, it really tells me about someone’s intelligence if you have to explain this to them.
