Blumenthal, himself, stupidly spilled the beans to an AP reporter not knowing who he was spilling his guts to.
BACKSTORY In 2009, the Clintons duped the public, the Foundation's Board of Directors, and its wealthy donors by announcing Sidney Blumenthal, a long-time adviser to both Clintons, had been hired...... (wait for it) "to work at the Clinton Foundation on a project to promote Bill Clintons presidential legacy. "
(waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)
But Sid's secret emails show that, while on the foundation payroll, ostensibly "promoting Bill's legacy," Blumenthal fed back-channel, usually unreliable, intelligence reports on Libya to then-Secy of State Clinton.
Hillary sent Sid's reports on to senior State official without attribution......as if they were her analyses.
========================================
The NYT reports extensively on Blumenthal's secret emails to Hillary (emails she did not want revealed):
<><> the Clintons announced Blumenthal was hired @ $320,000 per year by the Clinton Foundation to "promote Bill's presidential legacy",
<><> at the same time Blumenthal was tight w/ American Bridge and Media Matters two Democratic groups aiding 2016 Clinton's effort,
<><> Blumenthal was also a paid advisor to businesses seeking Libyan contracts (compromising US ntl interests, by marketing his influence at the State Dept);
<><> Clinton Foundation employee Blumenthal was secretly advising Secy of State Clinton about Libya;
<><> at the same time, Sid also pocketed $200,000 a year from Clinton political ally David Brock's media operations.
WASHINGTON, March 2 (Reuters) - Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may have violated federal records laws by using a personal email account for all of her work messages, the New York Times reported on Monday.
The newspaper said the likely Democratic presidential candidate conducted all her official business during her four-year tenure at the State Department on a private email account.
