In his address to the nation after the Charleston attack, Obama claimed: we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesnt happen in other places with this kind of frequency.

WW1, WW2 deaths in Europe quite outnumber most anywhere else on earth. The “regular” crime I bet is very high. Socialists usual hide their numbers if bad. Kinda like the unemployment amount here and now the illegals committing crime.

It happens in other countries. It just happens more often in the US.
Those in the US who say it dosent happen ‘abroad’ are stupid. BUT equally America shouldn’t use that it does happen outside the US to ignore their own level of shootings.
Its an uncomfortable truth the US should have and has to address. The right cannot ignore it and scream 2nd Amendment and do nothing, the left cannot scream ban guns as guns aren’t the issue. Its the culture of violence in the US that has to be addressed. Guns are only a scapegoat tool of a deeper problem.
I love America, but the fact is that it happens more often in the US than any other Western nation. In fact as often historically in the US than all those countries combined.
