‘Post-racial’ Obama announces new push to socially engineer every neighborhood by RACE
The Right Scoop ^ | 7/8/15 | soopermexican

The federal government doesn’t want you to choose where to live, it wants to be able to decide that for you too, and they’re implementing that plan with new rules to order that by race. Because that’s how we defeat racism, we organize people by race.

From the Washington Post:

…on Wednesday, the Obama administration will announce long-awaited rules designed to repair the law’s unfulfilled promise and promote the kind of racially integrated neighborhoods that have long eluded deeply segregated cities like Chicago and Baltimore. The new rules, a top demand of civil-rights groups, will require cities and towns all over the country to scrutinize their housing patterns for racial bias and to publicly report, every three to five years, the results. Communities will also have to set goals, which will be tracked over time, for how they will further reduce segregation.

“This is the most serious effort that HUD has ever undertaken to do that,” says Julian Castro, the secretary of the department of Housing and Urban Development, who will announce the new rules in Chicago on Wednesday. “I believe that it’s historic.”

Of course it’s “historic,” because the party wants to propel this dim-witted commie moron Castro onto the Democratic ticket with Hillary to try to get Latinos to vote for them.

Republicans rightfully condemn the push as socially engineering:

Republicans in the House of Representatives, worried by what they see as government intrusion into local planning, have already tried to defund implementation of the rule. Conservative commentators say it represents an experiment in “social engineering” in which the federal government will force white suburbs to change their racial makeup.

“Let local communities do what’s best in their communities, and I would predict we’d end up with a freer and fairer society in 20 years than we have today,” says Rick Manning, the president of Americans for Limited Government. “Far freer and fairer than anything that would be dictated from Washington.”

But they should be screaming and yelling more about this. Wasn’t Obama elected on the promise of getting beyond race? How is this not forcing communities to define themselves by how many of each race they have? Shouldn’t Americans be allowed to live in whatever community they want regardless of their race, and regardless of whatever race predominates in that community?

Obama says NO.

Westchester county, home of the Clintons, has refused to play along with the tyranny from the HUD. It will take local communities pushing back to put a stop to this, our useless “Republican” legislators aren’t going to protect us.

This could not be any farther from the founding father’s vision of the role of the Federal government.

But when people with money move back into the city, they call it gentrification

I run a little non 501 charity that serves many African American clients. We welcome them to integrate, but our direct experience is that their culture makes them want to live in majority Black areas. This thing of Obama’s won’t help Black people, it will go against their wishes. It’s an elite thing, not an enlightened thing.

Hillary will be thrilled to have so many new black neighbors once they’ve been assigned to live in Chapaqua.

Taxes.

The big, Democrat cities are running out of taxes.

Somebody has to pay all those Democrat voters.

Our ruling institutions no longer serve their constitutional purposes.

Our choices are to either continue into harder tyranny, or reform them.

What’s an example of such a goal?

Here we go again - socialists are incapable of learning - his is a throwback to the “redline” outrage of the ‘70’s - minorities deliberately denied access to nice neighborhoods because of their race, etc etc etc - led to the push to give mortgages to low income types who eventually couldn’t pay them back, leading to the economic collapse of 2008 - the Boston Fed even did a study supposedly demonstrating that blacks were systematically kept out of the mortgage market because of their race which helped fuel and legitimize the “give ‘em free houses” mania - only later did people with more brains and sense of reality than the ideologues heading the crusade take another look at the study, comparing default rates for the two groups - whites and blacks - and finding - surprise surprise - that the rates were the same, proving exactly what the banks had claimed - the mortgages had been awarded on the basis of credit-worthiness not race, since there would have been more defaults in the white group had mortgages been given to them on the basis of their skin color only - stupid apparently never does get fixed....

I have read about this - the feds won’t give any money to revitalize communities or infrastructure unless there are white people and black people living there. If they want federal money, they have to mix up blacks and whites.

I guess Obama wants all towns/cities to be like him: 1/2 white, 1/2 black.

Does anyone know of any elected official that is, in any manner, pushing back against this. We have 435 senators and representatives sworn to defend the Constitution. Now, I know that my two senators - Cassidy and Vitter - will not raise a little finger to stop this. Does anybody know if ANYONE is angry enough to tell the Obama administration to go pound sand.

“This could not be any farther from the founding father’s vision of the role of the Federal government.”

Is not the right to free association part of the Bill of Rights?

Doesn’t that right mean that I have the right to live where I want and to associate with whom I wish?

This concept of forcing neighborhoods to meet some predetermined governmental racial quota system is blatantly unconstitutional

I hope we are quick enough in selling our house. Age and disability are forcing our move. This neighborhood is fairly well balanced by race but segregated by education and income. It’s pleasant and essentially crime free. That’s a temporary situation apparently.
